The Computational Modeling and Data Analytics Club recently wrapped up its 2022 Fall Data Competition, with the winners announced on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Open to undergraduate students of any major at Virginia Tech, the Fall Data Competition enabled teams of three to five students to work on an assigned dataset or topic. To encourage less-experienced students to participate in the competition, both Beginner and Advanced tracks were available.

The working period for the competition ran from Nov. 18 through Dec. 2, followed by judging on Dec. 3, as teams gave presentations during a poster board session.
