Explore the world of science through action-packed, fun, thought-provoking summer camps in the College of Science at Virginia Tech. In our camps, you can DO science— carry out experiments, work with cutting-edge technology, and solve real-life problems. Our talented professors and staff will inspire and prepare you for a great future in science!

Data Science to Solve Real World Problems

Collect, manipulate and use data to solve problems in science and society. Learn best AI practices (while playing games). Use your new skills to solve a problem of interest to you and present your results to friends and family in an end-of-program showcase! No computer experience or statistics is required.

Hands-on exploration of the physical sciences. Topics included: Batteries and energy, nanoscience, physics, chemistry, radioisotopes, geomorphology, quantum computing, and more.

Hands-on exploration of the life sciences. Topics include: Neuroscience, nanomedicine, biotechnology, emerging diseases, bacteriology, fermentation, bacteriophages, ancient life forms, ecology, and more!
