Impact of Science

Our Virginia Tech College of Science Magazine print edition tells many great stories of how our faculty, staff, students, and alumni have taken action to fight and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. But it doesn’t tell all of the stories. Read below for stories on a shining moment of musical outreach, the start of testing of wastewater from campus dormitories, and a new story on student Cameron Buck, who volunteered as a medic on the front lines of a Texas hospital, and more.
