Special Events

The association's special programs offer the opportunity to get to know your fellow staff members and to be recognized for your service to the College of Science.

Special Events

The college hosts a recognition reception for faculty and staff members each fall. Staff members who are celebrating milestones in the careers (5, 10, 20, 30, and 40 years of service in the college) are formally recognized with a gift from the College of Science Staff Association .

The College of Science kicks off the fall semester in August with a picnic for the staff, dean's office, and department heads.

In early December, the College of Science faculty and staff  are invited to a holiday social. Last year this event was held in the Atrium of Hahn Hall. This a time for refreshments and holiday cheer. This social has proven to be a popular and relaxing event to get everyone "in the mood" for the holidays and enjoy socializing with other faculty and staff members in the college.
