Verify Degree Application

Top of report

  • Verify the following:
    • your name as you wish it to appear on your diploma
    • student ID number
    • anticipated graduation date
    • degree (B.S. or B.A.)
    • major
    • minor (if applicable)
    • option (if applicable)

Degree Status

  • Awarded: indicates your degree requirements are complete
    • Most reports are contingent on "IP" in-progress classes. If you should fail or drop a class this could change your graduation status
    • All Requirements Completed-In Progress Courses Used
  • Pending: indicates that you have applied for your degree, and enables you to determine which requirements you have left to fulfill.
    • At Least One Requirement Has Not Been Satisfied
    • All Requirements Identified Below Have Been Met

Degree Requirements

  • Divides graduation requirements into sections
    • Overall GPA
      • 2.00 or higher
    • Curriculum for Liberal Education
    • College Requirements
    • Major Requirements
      • In-Major GPA (2.00 or higher required)
    • Minor Requirements
      • Minor GPA (2.00 or higher required)

Free Electives

  • holding place for requirements not used to fulfill specific requirements
    • this section will never show completed because you always have the option to take free electives
    • if status shows awarded or pending with in-progress courses your degree requirements have been fulfilled

Degree Requirement Status Indicator

  • NO: at least one requirement is not complete
    • will show courses currently fulfilling requirements
    • will show courses needed to complete a requirement
  • IP: requirements completed with in-progress courses
    • will show courses currently fulfilling requirements
    • will show IP courses currently being used
  • OK: all requirements met
