The College of Science advances discovery and solves real-world problems while producing the next generation of scientific leaders. Since its inception in 2003, the College of Science has launched a set of integrative initiatives for achieving world-class excellence in nanoscience, computational science, infectious diseases, developmental science across the life span, and energy and the environment. These initiatives provide a firm basis for innovative technologies and understanding complex systems that power the progress in all areas of discovery.
