Assistant Dean

Janet serves as the assistant dean for finance and administration for the College of Science. She functions as the chief financial officer for the College, and is responsible for coverage of all fiscal matters.  She plays the lead role in crafting fiscal policy, strategy, and planning, and is the supervisor of a fiscal manager.  Her responsibilities include advising the dean, dean’s staff, and departmental leadership on matters of finance, personnel, faculty searches, initiatives and partnerships, and any number of day-to-day business operations. She oversees all fiscal and personnel transactions, initiates budget preparation and forecasting and tracking of all college financial and personnel resources.  

Janet received her BS in Organizational Management & Development from Bluefield College and her MBA from Baker College.
