Welcome to the student advising page for prospective students of the College of Science!

We offer information sessions on most weekdays throughout the semester.  These sessions are designed to give parents and students a brief overview of the college and the departments.  See below for details.

International Baccalaureate Credit

IB Diploma

  • A maximum of 38 hours may be awarded.
  • Credit is awarded for Higher Level (HL) courses based on minimum scores shown in the HL Credit Table.
    • HL Credit Table. 
  • Credit is awarded for only one Subsidiary Level (SL) course based on a minimum score of 6.  
    • SL Credit Table 
  • Additional Credits can be received for 
    • Theory of Knowledge with a grade of "C" or higher 
    • Extended Essay with a grade of C or higher. 

IB Certificate

  •  A maximum of 30 hours may be awarded.
  • Credit is awarded for Higher Level (HL) courses based on minimum scores shown in the HL Credit Table.
    • HL Credit Table.
  • No credit is awarded for Subsidiary Level (SL) courses. 
  • No Credits can be received for 
    • Theory of Knowledge 
    • Extended Essay
